It surprised me s all I saw putting it down was that I was being consistent with sharing what I'm learning here. It means a great deal to me that you all expressed your support in this way. Time to hunker down and get to work!

Re: Update on a blog transition…

I personally prefer the deeper stuff than the social media stuff. Congratulations on that. I believe those are the fundamentals to build a house on.

Thank you for sharing the numbers. I would have expected your traffic to rise, as those few posts during your illness were very personal and the concern for your health seemed to create a community.

It's a difficult choice when you realize your traffic wants something else than you want to produce - if you intend to make money, anyway. It's complicated enough to create content that produces traffic and when that traffic finally comes, to say: sorry, please come for different reasons - that's hard to do. I had to do it with my activities in German, but I didn't even have a choice, because my creativity would no longer go into that direction.

No choice after all: creativity is an adventure. I hope to see where it will take you/ us.

Re: Update on a blog transition…

I've been away for the past 10 days, but I'm happy to see that you're focusing on what truly drives you. I'll be sticking around, as it's always a pleasure to read words that stimulate new veins of thought as yours do...

Re: Update on a blog transition…

Your writing is interesting for me because it can stand apart from the popular stuff. I have great respect for what you are doing. Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge and perspective.

Re: Update on a blog transition…

Your knowledge of Jung is what made me follow you in the first place, and I can go to 50 sites about twitter, etc. but there is only one Richard Reeve, and I visit him daily for everything Jung. Thank you.

Re: Update on a blog transition…

Frankly, Richard, your value was never rooted in your knowledge of the tools of the (social media) trade. Were those posts helpful? Sure. But when you write about the things that are clearly of great personal interest, that's your unique voice coming through, and it's one I've yet to see paralleled in my travels around the web.

I hope the SocMed Gurus will forgive me on this one, but online marketing and social media tips are a dime a dozen. Yours is a voice that stands alone Richard. That's why I'm here.

Re: Update on a blog transition…

Thank you for the support Chas.

Re: Update on a blog transition…

yes yes yes...deeper into the perennial...
